Hello, I am Joe Fox, I have been in the natural, wholistic, alternative fields of health for over 45 years. I began out of personal interest and love of being in nature, then becoming a vegetarian. At one point, I became sick with Hepatitis-A. Being a community epidemic, I went to the public health doctor who said, “there’s nothing you can do, let nature take its course, you’ll be sick for 6-8 months,” after which I pressed the doctor as I was looking for foods I should eat to help heal, to which the doctor said, “you can eat candy and potatoes.” I was astounded, that didn’t sound like healing to me! By fluke of fate, the small community I was with were natural health proponents, one of whom had gone to a wholistic health program where they taught him various nutritional protocols that he shared with me: foot reflexology along with eating an alkaline, plant-based, purifying foods plus an herbal liver-cleansing beverage and an herbal cleansing tea. So fascinated with the healing process and results, I was completely well in just 3 weeks and thereafter went to study at that same Polarity Health Institute to become a Certified Polarity (Wholistic) Practitioner.

After the course of Wholistic study, My wife, Kathi, who I met there, and I were invited to join the Polarity staff. We were honored to be part of this pioneering and genuine movement to immerse students of natural health in plant-based nutrition, stretching exercise, positive mindset, and therapeutic touch therapies for some 10 years, drawing students from around the world and eventually locating at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. At that point, Kathi and I ventured out on our own and created Total Health Fx. Kathi came to specialize in Naturopathy, and I in Manual Therapy. In time, Kathi retired from Naturopathy to become an award-winning Fine Artist and also teaches Art for Therapy.

Over the years, I created Total Health Manual Therapy as a proprietary therapeutic style incorporating elements from around the world including Chinese Acupressure, Indian Ayurveda, Polarity Therapy, Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, Assisted Stretching, Joint Mobilization, and Neuro-Muscular Re-Education. This skillful blend of technique with sensitive care brings health and balances nature’s energy in the body to prevent and remedy body aches and pains from stress and tension, overwork and overuse of muscles, chronic illness and injuries resulting from sports, work, trauma or accident. Total Health Manual Therapy is the centerpiece of effective and time tested products and services of Natural Body Care, Personal Nutrition Education, and Healthy Living Skills, synergistically known as “The Fox-Fix” for their excellent, effective results.

The one-hour Total Health Manual Therapy Treatment is a mobile service offering out-call to client’s home or workplace throughout Southern California.
